What is aeries in school? ›

Aeries is the student information system the District uses for grades and attendance. Parents and students can access their information by creating an account in the Aeries Parent Portal. One can get a verification code through their school counseling department.

To create your account:

Open your web browser and go to https://aeriesportal.rusd.k12.ca.us/LoginParent.aspx and click the 'Create New Account' link in the bottom of the screen.

Aeries allows users to view student information such as attendance records, grades, assignments, and completed college requirements.

Aeries supports storing the Add-On Weighted GPAs in the regular weighted fields for each GPA or in a completely different set of fields so that both the traditional Weighted GPA and the Add-On Weighted GPA will be able to be queried and printed.

Click the Edit icon to change an existing grade record. Make any necessary changes and when completed click the Save icon.

To Delete a student, click the mouse on the Allow Deletes check box at the top of the student list. After Allow Deletes is checked a Delete button will display next to the Drop button. Select the Delete button to the left of the Student's name. A confirmation message will display prior to the deletion.

Linking to additional student: Once you have created an account for one stu- dent in your family, you may link to your other children through Aeries Portal by clicking on the Change Student drop down menu selector at the top right hand side of the homepage and click the link to “Add New Student To Your Account”.

The Aeries Mobile Portal is a mobile app for Parents and Students to use to access Gradebook and/or a list of classes, Attendance, Report Card, Contact, Demographic, Financial, and Aeries Communications information in a concise, mobile-friendly format.

When creating a new Aeries Parent Portal account, you will be asked for a VPC (Verification Pass Code). This code is only available from your student's school.

How do I create a student group in aeries? ›

Click on the Add button. A Group ID is automatically assigned. Enter the Group Name and the Group Description. The Created On and Expires On fields are optional, however the Created On date populate with today's date.

Users and Teachers can navigate to Student Data > Grades > Report Card History. Parents and Students can navigate to Grades > Report Card History. The page displays a list of all of the Report Card History records that exist for the current student.

It may be necessary to check the “Is Grading Complete?” box in your Aeries gradebook for an assessment after a nightly gradebook sync. Even if you checked this box already, you may need to check the box again after a sync. Otus scores will not passback to a closed Aeries grading period.

Aeries is plural to aerie, which is another word for an eagle's nest. We've decided to call our team “eagles”, because together we build the nest where your student data lives. Only, it's in the Cloud – not in a tree or on a cliff.
